| Surgoinsville's Only Continuous Business Celebrates 100th Anniversary |
| Owners Johnny and Teresa Greer held a special Anniversary party Saturday, October 18th, 2008 at Bellamys to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the establishment of the Bellamy Hardware Building. Bellamy's was established in October of 1908 by Mr. Neal Bellamy. The Hardware building served as the only continuous business in operation in Surgoinsville for over 80 years and has hosted the 3rd Saturday of the month Bluegrass shows since 2001. Local Bluegrass favorite Highway 11 was the host for the special celebration on October 18 at the Hardware. The Greers welcomed the public to come join this special observance and share refreshments and hear some great music. Be sure to visit Bellamy for one of their monthly shows.
